Breaking the ice & feeling comfortable in front of the camera


No matter if you're a newbie or returning client, those butterflies will always pop up! How do you release the tension and capture your authentic self?


Rest, rest, rest. The night before, be sure to get enough sleep. Turn off the electronics, turn on a fan, and keep it dark!


Have everything you're bringing ready and prepared. Outfits, accessories, and anything else relevant to your session




This might sound silly, but get in front of a mirror and practice. Move your body, see what angles you like, try out different expressions, and feel comfortable moving around!


The professional hair and makeup artist will take care of you as soon as you arrive to the studio. Just come with a clean face and freshly blow dried hair.





Get to know your photographer! Don't be afraid to ask questions and ask for advice. We promise we aren't scary!
